Insight Optics Path to $100K Seed Funding

Aaron decided to enroll in Newchip’s business accelerator program to help him and his team raise seed funding. Insight Optics has enrolled in four business accelerator programs. According to Aaron, Newchip brought significant value as a pre-seed to seed accelerator program.

Newchip provided multiple resources to Aaron and Insight Optics to help them succeed during their seed round. Aaron was able to learn and pull information from Newchip’s resources to establish themselves as legitimate players in the space before going to raise seed funding. Newchip helped Insight Optics ensure that they were well prepared for meeting with potential investors.

Insight Optics learned to build a documentation set to ensure that they were ready for a deep dive in due diligence from potential investors.

Aaron felt more prepared than ever to meet with investors after going through the program. The process of getting ready for demo day helped Aaron learn exactly what investors were looking for. The feedback Aaron received from the Newchip group helped him hone his pitch and grow as a CEO. Aaron was able to better understand SEC regulations when meeting with investors.

Newchip built a complete profile of Insight Optics, which helped them introduce Aaron and his team to the right investors in terms of both capital and fit.

The Value Of NewChip

Overall, Newchip provided tremendous support and value to Aaron and Insight Optics. “There are hundreds of reasons why you should join Newchip; the least of which is the amount of money that it costs you will get back in just credits and knowledge,” said Aaron.

Insight Optics was able to take advantage of all of the extensive resources that Newchip offered. The benefits of Newchip’s robust network of people who shared their experiences and relationships lasted well beyond the length of the program for Aaron.

Success Since Finishing The Program

Since joining Newchip, Aaron and Insight Optics have found more success. They have been able to secure their first major channel partner channel, which allows them to expand their disease model and expand internationally as well. Insight Optics is also a finalist for a significant amount of grant funding from United Way.

Additionally, Insight Optics has raised capital from a successful seed round. Aaron said, “I can confidently say that New chip has helped us establish and secure our seed round and be as successful as we could’ve been to get us to where we need to be to impact as many patient lives as possible.” Newchip has been able to help Insight Optics take its business to the next level.

About Insight Optics

Many eye diseases and long-term eye damage can be prevented with proper screening. One of the biggest issues is that most patients will see a primary care physician each year, but less than half will see a specialist.

Ensuring primary care physicians have the technology and connections to local specialists can help physicians identify early signs of avoidable blindness before permanent damage is done.

Aaron Enten founded Insight Optics to empower primary care physicians to record and send retinal videos to local eyecare specialists to detect any retinal issues. Breaking into this field is no easy task. In order to impact as many patient lives as possible, Aaron and Insight Optics needed to raise money.
